Biotechnology is one of the pivotal technologies for countries in the new
millennium. In June 2005 the Central Committee of Vietnamese Party has issued
decree No 50 regarding the development and application of Biotechnology in
Vietnam, followed by the regulation of the Vietnamese Prime Minister on the
promulgating of the Government’s Action Plan in order to pave the way for the
mastering of the key biotechnologies and their application in agriculture,
fisheries, production, environmental protection, security and defense.
Vietnam is an agricultural production countries, therefore the application of
high tech in agriculture is one of the priorities of Vietnamese Government. The

upgradding and changing it into the Agbiotech Vietnam website (www.agbiotech.com.vn) is to meet the
stratergy of Vietnamese Governmet in development and application of
